About Us

Our Fine Art Association was formed twenty five years ago when a group of enthusiastic painters from around the Hastings Valley/Port Macquarie area, formed a non-profit art group based in Wauchope.

Over the years they met, painted and exchanged ideas regularly. This group grew steadily as more aspiring artists heard about the friendly and encouraging support they received when they joined in the various activities on offer.

These days the group has members stretching from Forster in the south through to South West Rocks in the north, right out to Comboyne, Lorne, Pappinbarra. Membership numbers are 150 strong and still growing.

We have regular weekly activities which are outlined on the Activities page, and include life drawing, weekly plein air painting groups and much more.

Tutorials feature regularly throughout the year with some very prominent and well respected artists offering their much sought after tutelage.
